Hi there! My name is Caroline, welcome to my place on the internet! I’m a digital illustrator based out of New England. I made this site because I wanted somewhere to share my art without the hassle of social media, limitations, and the need for a perfectly curated feed. Ever since the rise of generative AI infiltrating art spaces and the growing need to commodify art for easy consumption, I’ve been more hesitant to share my art on these platforms. I had a previous website that was pretty sterile, as it lacked my own personal touch/characterization in favor of being clean and sleek, so people focused more on my art; however, it definitely made it hard to connect with.

Here I will be sharing my illustrations, characters/worldbuilding, and my various interests for any reader to enjoy. I enjoy illustrating pieces that make viewers feel as though they can walk right into a natural and organic cartoon world. I love depicting gentle and calm scenes with a hint of environmentalism and romanticism of the Earth and its inhabitants. The Earth is amazing and is so full of wonder, wisdom, and beauty that I can’t put it into words. Every day I wake up grateful to be able to experience the natural processes of this planet, its animals, plants, sky, etc. My work, despite its magical tendencies, is heavily inspired by our planet, its systems, and its uniqueness found nowhere else. As you’ll be able to see with my illustrations, my main focus is on landscapes, environments, and backgrounds more so than character art; however, I will make exceptions to depict childhood as well as explore my characters. I also dabble in fan art from time to time, but I definitely put my full focus on my original illustrations, characters, and worlds.

I’m naturally curious, a big learner, and a problem solver. I love to dive deep into any topic that piques my interest and go out of my way to learn something new every day. Curiosity, an eagerness to learn, and problem-solving are some of life’s greatest powers. It has allowed us to bring ideas to life, understand the world we inhabit, and solve the problems that we face. I’m a huge advocate of teaching yourself how to create and fix things, as well as the importance of understanding and navigating the world around you. Knowledge is power, especially in this day and age, where critical thinking and education are seen as something you can buy or opt out of, and not something to develop and strengthen.
